The 2nd season for the Brazos Valley Derby Girls will get underway in January and we are thrilled to be representing the Brazos Valley. We are the only roller derby league in the area and are ready skate for you so come out and see us or join us for a practice. We would love to have you!

About Us

Who Are We?

The Brazos Valley Derby Girls have come together through shared enthusiasm for a new rise in self expression. A motley crew of incredibly distinct women who have been looking for their missing outlet, we have joined the revolution that is quickly burning through to the forefront of modern sport spectacles. Operating under the rules and regulations of WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) in the hopes of joining their ever-increasing ranks, we seek to rejuvenate the community by fostering athleticism, empowerment, and sportsmanship among women, girls, and supporters, while benefiting local non-profit organizations through our charitable donations and services.

It has been a rough slide through the pinball machine of grounding a new venture, having difficulty in finding ourselves a place we can call home for practices and bouting, but BVDG has persevered through this start up year and are, at last, branching out into the competitive and business minded world.

The Derby Girls are scheduled to be bouting surrounding leagues such as Cen-Tex Sirens, Rocket City Roller Girls and Gulf Coast Roller Girls.
